With multiple generations in the workplace each generation sees and approaches the world and workplace somewhat differently depending upon when they grew up and what the major events were at that time. Effective leadership requires an awareness and recognition of the contributions each generation makes. This workshop helps managers and supervisors increase their understanding of how best to leverage the differences between generations to foster greater collaboration and engagement.
When you've completed this module, you will be able to:
- Identify defining characteristics of the four generations at work.
- Identify differences in motivation for each generation.
- Acknowledge and adapt your leadership style to the various needs of each generation and coach appropriately.
