By some estimates we spend over 65 percent of our day working with others on teams and in meetings. It is rare to have a job that allows independent work without collaboration with others. Yet teamwork is not a given. It’s an outcome that is created by attention to the ways in which people come together as a team. This unit is designed to teach you how to capitalize on the energy and contributions of the group and build on the team’s efforts to create a high-performing Total Team.
When you've completed this module, you will be able to:
- Manage the team, building on the strengths of individuals.
- Recognize the five phases of team development.
- Develop a high-performance Total Team.
