Overview

The session will use interactive discussions and personal reflections to develop skills to effectively communicate across generations and minimize misunderstandings. The desired outcome is for participants to improve employee relations; however, in order to achieve this outcome we need to recognize how generational perspectives shape the ways we regard our colleagues.

Objectives

  • Identify key characteristics of each generation.
  • Recognize how generational perspectives shape our work.
  • Learn how to manage generational conflicts in the workplace.
